Lori's Story

Lori is an ICF (International Coach Federation) Professional Certified Coach, a Certified Professional Coach, a Master Practitioner of the  Energy Leadership Index and the President of Lori Pannell Leadership Coaching, Inc.  Prior to achieving her coaching certification, Lori held HR Director positions in several operating businesses and an international technology organization at a major energy company.  She is a wife and mother of two children.  After 23 years of increasing responsibility in the firm, Lori decided to pursue a new career that focused on the aspects of her HR leadership roles that she enjoyed the most and that would afford her more flexibility to care for her family. Coaching provides her that balance and give her the opportunity to apply her many skills and years of experience to helping others.  In her coaching, she draws on all of these experiences, including her own transformation and transition, as she works with clients to improve all aspects of their life.

 

While an HR Director, Lori was a seasoned leader in her own right and a trusted advisor to executives tackling challenges including downsizing, strategic restructuing, growth and culture change.  As a result, she can quickly assess the climate and challenges in your organization or the organization you work within and factor that into the coaching relationship.

 

Lori has coached leaders at all levels of the organization, from individual contribuors to executives.  She has coached in corporpate and manufacturing environments and has extensive experience in the energy industry.

 

In addition to her Professional Coaching Certification, she is a Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Index and is certified to administer and interpret the Harrison Assessment.  She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, graduating with distinction.  She recieved BP's distinguished "Helios Award" for leading humanitarian assistance to employees following hurricanes Katrina and Rita.  Her professional development includes strategic human resources management, coaching for high performance, advanced facilitative leadership, having difficult conversations, appreciative inquiry, safety leadership, change management, crisis management and 360 feedback.  She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and member of the Interntaional Coach Federation.
